Once upon a time: Saillon, a village of many facets
The village of Saillon has three facets: history, with its medieval setting comprising a town surrounded by ramparts and a tower; culture, with a museum and a legendary heritage known throughout the region; and a passion for gastronomy, as the home of asparagus and a dedicated wine producer.
A popular destination in the Valais, Saillon invites you to enjoy the proximity of nature and the attraction of a number of unusual places, to meet its craftsmen of taste, to relax at the baths or along the signposted routes, on foot or by bike. Welcome, dear traveller!
