On 9 October 2026 in Lausanne, it was awarded the ‘Regional Best Of Wine Tourism 2027’ prize in the Environment/Development category. This accolade guarantees you a wonderful walk through one of the country’s most beautiful wine-growing landscapes.
An award that guarantees quality
The Best Of Wine Tourism Awards were created by Great Wine Capitals, an international network of leading wine-producing regions. Each year, a jury of wine and tourism professionals selects the most outstanding wine tourism experiences.
What won the jury over? An easy and safe route that showcases the vineyard landscapes and encourages visitors to support local businesses. And a real sense of cohesion: the four villages designed the route together, so that you can move seamlessly from one to the next, map in hand.

What lies ahead along the way
- By bike: a safe, flat route, ideal for families or e-bikes, from Fully to Chamoson. View the route.
- On foot: a two-day walk, giving you plenty of time to soak up the vineyard atmosphere. View the route.
Along the way, you can tailor your own experience: a wine tasting at a wine bar, a meal on a terrace or a picnic featuring local produce. There’s no set itinerary: just stop, look around and savour the moment.

Saillon, a must-see stop
Halfway along the route, Saillon and its medieval village, perched high above the vineyards, make for an ideal stop. Take the time to stroll through its narrow streets and climb up to the Bayart Tower.
You can also savour quality at our local wineries: this year, Cave La Corbassière in Saillon received the special craftsmanship award in the same competition for ‘La Guérite 1814 ’. And to round off the day on a relaxing note, the Bains de Saillon are just a stone’s throw away.
