Join us in Saillon for an exceptional evening of cinema about the memory and identity of our region. Two films, two viewpoints, one land: that of the farmers and builders who have shaped the Valais of today.
This evening is organised by Claudy Raymond, with the support of the Commune de Saillon.
6.30pm – Randonnaz, le village disparu (1h15) Directed by Mickaël Rouzeau
Almost 100 years ago, 52 inhabitants left and dismantled with their own hands the hamlet of Randonnaz, clinging to the slopes of Grand-Chavalard, to make way for the mountain pastures. A tribute film as the centenary approaches, combining eyewitness accounts, contributions from historians and scenes of reconstruction.
7.45pm – Break
