On 31 July, come and celebrate National Day in Saillon, on the Place des Remparts. Free entertainment, food stalls and a unique immersive show await you. Hop aboard the little train to the Place des Remparts.
The highlight of the evening: at 10 pm, a spectacular giant light show projected onto the ramparts of Saillon. The story of Oram, the giant of the Rhône Valley, told through light and music — a unique immersive visual experience.
Throughout the evening:
- Entertainment for all ages: the “Wheriz” escape game, quiz competitions, a treasure hunt, a “make your own Swiss flag” craft activity and face painting.
- Music provided by Gipsy Latino
- Food stalls, bars run by the Jeunesse and the Caveau de Saillon.
Entertainment schedule:
- 6.00 pm: Flight and feeding of birds of prey by the Saillon falconers
- 10.00 pm: Speech by the president, followed by a giant projection show on the ramparts
- 5.30 pm, 6.30 pm, 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm: ‘Sound and Darkness’ guided tour – discover unusual spots in the heart of Saillon village. Booking required (limited places): link to the ticket office
