This winter, the magic of Christmas comes to life in the medieval village of Saillon. As night falls, the whole family can set off in search of the luminous reindeer hidden in the narrow streets and behind the windows of the village. A fun and enchanting adventure for young and old.

Meet the artists – Sabine Fournier

Sabine Fournier has been painting for twelve years, a passion that has grown with time and experience. She was lucky enough to take courses in Payerne with an experienced artist, who taught her the basics as well as the technique of the materials. Today, she&#8217s pursuing this artistic path by giving painting lessons of her own and sharing her passion with others. Passing on and sharing are an integral part of her approach. For the past six years, she has also run her own gallery, La Galerie la Belle Toile, on rue du Bourg in Martigny. Here she exhibits her own work as well as that of local artists. The gallery has become a lively place for meeting, discovering and sharing contemporary art. We look forward to welcoming you. But tonight, we&#8217re delighted to welcome her to Saillon!

Fire festival

The village of Saillon is transformed into a fairytale village for the fire festival. Young and old alike can enjoy activities throughout the afternoon, and feast at the various food stalls. At 8pm, a light show takes place on the Place des Remparts.
