Bird Trail — The most accessible

Set off to discover the birds of Saillon on this educational trail. Illustrated panels and fascinating facts along the way. Bonus: a quiz along the route!

The Giant’s Head — The shortest
Family · Very easy
A path that runs alongside the river to the Salentze Gorges, where you can discover the famous ‘giant’ carved into the rock. A real haven of coolness, perfect in summer.

- 70m elevation gain
- Prams: at the bridge, take the tarmac road through the vineyards. Leave the pram at the ‘Grotte des géants’ sign and walk the last few metres

Farinet Footbridge — The most spectacular

A thrilling walk! A suspension walkway 136 metres high and 92 metres long, offering a bird’s-eye view of the Rhône plain. Ideal for families with slightly older children.

- Prams: set off from the“Les Places, bifurcation” bus stop, then walk for 20 minutes on flat ground to the footbridge.
