Advanced
Equipped with a helmet and harness, launch yourself on the Valais’ first ever lowland via ferrata. The Via Farinetta takes you up and along the vertical walls of the Salentze gorge. Accessible to the general public, the fixed-rope route is divided into three sections, each more challenging than the last. The sections can be taken individually or together; the last is best suited to experienced climbers.
Annual closure of the Via Farinetta: from 2 December 2024 to 31 March 2025.
An adventure in 3 parts
From Place Farinet, the approach walk takes around twenty minutes. After the Via Ferrata, it’s another 45-minute to 1-hour walk back to Place Farinet.
