Before your very eyes, discover an exceptional work of art, the fruit of the passion and dedication of 250 volunteers. Over 16 metres long, this embroidery painstakingly tells the tragic and moving story of Anselme de Saxon and Guigone de Saillon, a story of love and destiny engraved in people’s memories for over seven centuries.
Stéphanie Roduit, who created the illustrations for the embroidery, will introduce you to this real masterpiece, as well as the story of the 2 lovers. This embroidery is the common thread running through the theme of the Grandes Fêtes médiévales de Saillon, which take place from 12 to 14 September 2025.
