Harvest of the Vigne à Farinet

On Friday 5 September 2025, the Vigne à Farinet will be hosting an unusual harvest: Guigone de Saillon and Anselme de Saxon. These two legendary characters from the Fêtes Médiévales will be brought to life by local actors to harvest the world's smallest vineyard.

The event will combine a demonstration of grape harvesting and old-fashioned treading, in direct line with the 2025 theme of the Fêtes Médiévales, The Thread of Destiny.

The pressing of the harvested grapes will take place on 14 September as part of the Fêtes, at 3pm in Place Farinet at the Saxon stand (guest of honour).

For more details on the event, the press release is available below.
